Let's Go Shipping Again

A sequel to last years Ship-tacular:

Again! Just in time for Valentines Day, a batch of four, count it, FOUR new OS-tan ships.

Let's go from left-to-right, which also happens to be normal to dementedly crackish.

First off, it's CDC KRONOS-kun x Michigan Terminal System-tan (and, er... a cameo by a certain little MTS-tan fanpig ^^). There's not much to say about this couple. They're pretty normal and stuff.

Second: it's the QED-kun (a text editor-kun) x Multics-sama vs. GECOS-tan ship. Despite being about as romatically-inclined as your typical potted plant, QED-kun still has two of the most important OS-tans of the classical era fighting over him.

Why?

Because they're arch-friggin-enemies, and each one doesn't want the other spending time with him. >:3

Thirdly: It's the mother of all head-scratchingly weird crackpairings, The IAS Machine (an early hardware-tan) x Plan 9-tan ship (w/ an amazingly shocked Slackware-tan in the background). But wait... this could work. Think about it: maybe Plan 9-tan is getting some sweet revenge for all the Unix skirtchasing that Slackware-tan has done/is doing.

Ship Status: probably doomed, once Slackware-tan makes her apologies at least....

Fourth and most bizarre, it's the CDC MACE-kun (a mainframe OS-tan) x MANIAC-tan (an early hardware-tan). What happens when you put a smooth-talking loose cannon together with an insane mathematician and explosives aficionado?

You get a background full of mushroom clouds and ICBMs, that's what.
