But seriously, it's amazing that Multics-sama can fight in such impractically fancy dresses, and even more amazing that Unix-sama got out of that alive, but tragic that Multics' attempts to build Unix's character backfired and turned out like it did. :(

Looks like Multics is playing the Cruel Mercy trope too!

I knew that the freckled girl in the background looked veeeery familiar! I'd guess that's Leopard-tan, but she doesn't have the cat ears... unless she's hiding them to blend in!

In the first panel, I also see the magical staff that would later become Unix-sama's!

Never, ever underestimate the agility of a noblewoman in a Rococo-style gown. :lol: Actually, most of Multics' fighting skills would have involved stopping an enemy before they even got near her-- in others words, forcefields and the like-- so she wouldn't have been as reliant upon agility so much as sheer power. (Though Multics-sama probably let Unix-sama get near her just to get into hand-to-hand fights with her, because Unix-sama would've been totally defenseless against an energy attack. Gotta keep fights fair, amiright?).

...Something like that. I don't think it was particularly cruel that she let Unix-sama live, though...

Yes, that is Leopard-tan! Her ears are under the scarf she's wearing (I don't imagine there were many/any catgirls around at the time... lol)

By the way... I didn't expect UNIX-sama to just go and attack Multics right on the spot (again, how did she got allowed to get any close to Multics with this attitude?)... From what I read on os-tan collections forums, I guessed that UNIX will go and try to become Multics' servant/apprentice to get to know her weaknesses better,and UNIX will attack only when all of her mind games will be unmasked...

Probably because Multics-sama wasn't paying close enough attention. But there's also a theory that proposes that Multics-sama allowed Unix-sama to get into fights with her, because she wanted to make Unix-sama a stronger fighter and stronger person (remember, Multics-sama and Unix-sama are related).

That is a very interesting thought, actually. :) But I guess Multics-sama and Unix-sama were too great of rivals to want to work together in any real way... :(

*sigh* If there is anything history and literature should have taught you Multics it's never, ever ignore a potential enemy. More squashing, less dialoguing!

Okay, in panel 3 there's a certain freckled girl looking on in horror, as if she's thinking "oh god my great-great-great-grandmother is getting her neck rung and I might not exist if this doesn't turn out right." You might not recognize her because her ears are hidden...

Bah, children make the best usurpers. (Why never, *dusts off uniform sleeve* it would be improper to play favorites. My wish is simply to see the best fight possible :smoking: )

Another reason not to have them... i've always said that the goal of the child is to kill/overtake the parent! That's why they always spreading germs and bringing home viruses from school. :paranoid: (I won't say who I'm routing for... but it's the one who's not going to make out very well in this situation).

Think... which OS-tan is cocky mad scientist who built her own time machine? Hint: it's the character for the OS I'm using right now. :lol:
