A companion piece to
[link] So, I finally got around to doing that Princess Celestia painting. The princess wasn't as difficult to work on as I thought she'd be (once I figured out how to properly shade and highlight her light coat and mane/tail) but the background was difficult. I never got it quite like my mind envisioned it, which bothers me.
Also, this is kind of a belated Christmas gift for my bf... though I ended making something else for him since I couldn't print this one properly. The extremely light/bright color scheme isn't captured very well in paper form. >>;;
