Another OS-tan piece?! What is this world coming tooooooo?! 
This was drawn sometime in mid-September, but since I made the mistake of drawing it on 28x43cm paper it was way too big to scan. Yesterday I sucked it up and scanned it one piece at a time, and reassembled it in The GIMP...
Yeah, six catgirls seems a little gratuitous. But there's a reason. They're all OS-tan representatives of the different versions of Mac OSX (I know there have been seven releases, but Leopard and Snow Leopard are sometimes counted as the same character).
Left to right we have
-Cheetah-tan, who's some sort of klutzy dominatrix or something. Not very reliable and rather absentminded, at least in matters not pertaining to her "career".
-the very innocent and meek Puma-tan, a schoolgirl and professional Mikuru Asahina impersonator.
-Panther-tan, who we really don't know a lot about, so I made her a musician. Because there better be at least ONE Mac-tan whose a musician, dammit! >:\
-Then there's Jaguar-tan, who we also don't know a lot about. I'm going to say she's the hotheaded redhead/artist of the family for the pure heck of it.
-Next is the very playful, friendly and alluring Tiger-tan, one of the first Mac-tans to befriend a Windows-tan (XP-tan namely, being a reference to Tiger's Boot Camp feature).
-And finally, the amalgam of v10.5 and 10.6, Leopard-tan. She's some sort of surprisingly hot mad scientist and time traveler (a reference to Leopard's Time Machine feature) and frequently runs into past and future versions of herself. Apparently knows a lot enough about the past to have discovered some very deep, dark secrets. (I'm going to guess she used some of those discoveries to blackmail Unix-sama into certifying her as a Unix. Muhahaha!)
She also seems to have a baffling fondness for posing in ways that show off her time machine. (see: [link] [link] )

Each one of them looks very elegant! It's a shame that Jaguar-tan and Panther-tan are nearly forgotten. Is it a coincidence they're both the 'middle children' of the OSX-tans?
I agree seeing Panther-tan as the very classy type who is fond of opera.
Personally I see Jaguar-tan as being bold and outgoing, but socially awkward (yet not letting that stop her!); referencing Jaguar being more refined and usable, but still has a rather awkward interface.
Tiger-tan is still the most extroverted and hot-blooded of the OSX-tans and makes for a good leader!
But would she lead the WHOLE Mac Family? Now there'd be a lot of competition there!
