I feel like IAS-tan is really normal as far as OS-tans go. Just an ordinary dorky mathematician who kicked it with various prestigious scientists at her eggheady research facility and maybe helped with hydrogen bomb calculations in her spare time (so the rumors go). Although she has like 50 clones / children / derivatives, which is pretty weird, at least for non-Unix-tan. Someday, I will draw them all together. (The IAS Architecture-tans I mean. Not the Unices. I may be mad but I don't have a death-wish!)

The silver hair and golden eyes/accessories are an allusion to the actual appearance of the machine. The green sweater was coincidental though.
