I don't know if these are so much my OC's "inspiration characters" as much as they are "characters I very loosely associate with these OCs".
L-to-R:
Isra Peregrine/Kino (Kino no Tabi): Well, both are deadpan travelers who journey through distinctly strange lands, meet strange people, sometimes get into strange trouble and partake in a bit of gunplay, so...
Granted, Isra isn't quite as badass as Kino (at least not initially) and doesn't have a mechanical sidekick (unless you count those blasted nanomachines implanted in her body).
Bellatrix Gavin/Kara Thrace (Battlestar Gallatica): Okay, somebody else brought this parallel up and I laughed it off initially. But the more I thought about it, the more it actually made sense to me.
Both are somewhat hot-tempered, rugged, tough, and rather prone to resisting authority. But Gavin is much more feminine-acting and, I daresay, has a certain primness to her. (Bonus points: long, LONG ago, I thought Gavin and [1950s] Eloise Hawking had a few things in common. xD)
Erwin Everett/Daniel Faraday (Lost): Well, somebody once told me that child Erwin reminded her of child Dan Faraday...
Both are experimental physicists who engage in a little too much dangerous animal and human testing; both are native New Englanders, and have totally beautiful hair. Oh yeah. And both are named after uber-famous scientists. Except Erwin is much more suave and well-spoken, has a freakishly good memory, and yeah, is completely different personality-wise.
ADA/Marvin (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy): Morose. Depressed. Apathetic. With that certain (and totally founded) suspicion in humanity. Except Ada has occasional breaks in her dark personality (which probably makes her more bipolar than depressed).
