Misty Mountains

"Quick" landscape painting brought on by an urge to play around with soft coloring and lighting schemes. Inspired by various pictures of West Virginian scenery without being based on any one place.

Not super happy with how this turned out.  I can't quite wrap my brain around the idea of coloring without a strong light source. Or painting fog / low-hanging clouds. Oh well, 'tis why I experiment in the first place.
